5 fab things this week #20

5 fab things this week

Well I was definitely ready for half term, with a few more relaxed mornings and no rushing to get to nursery.

The children adjusted to the clocks going back after a few days and were waking at a more civilised hour (well about 7 ish so not too bad).

We were so lucky with the weather which meant we were able to have plenty of time outside, so here are my 5 fab things this week.

A day out at Dinton Pastures

I love it here. It’s a massive enclosed playground area, with huge sand pits, big slides, zip wires, tunnels and more. The children always have a great time here and it was blissfully warm too.

A trip to Portsmouth

Another favourite day out is to Portsmouth to watch the hovercraft coming in and out. We went down there this half term for some chips on the beach, rides at the fairground, swings and slides at the playground and then dinner at Gun Wharf Quays. The weather was amazing again for an Autumn day.

Halloween Party

So exciting for a 3 1/2 year old! A Halloween disco with dancing and music, dressing up and then a party with games and kids tea. Oh to be that age again! Unfortunately the only photos I got of the children were a bit blurry so here is our pumpkin instead!

Muddy puddles

We had a bit of time to clear up leaves on the drive, so whilst I got on with this (with the camera in one hand obviously), Bodhi found a great puddle for splashing and sitting in. Charley on the other hand, in her new sparkly trainers, didn’t want to go near it!

Dinner and the cinema

I had dinner out with the hubby and then we went to watch the new James Bond film, Spectre. We both really enjoyed the film, great action, funny and Daniel Craig isn’t bad to look at!

Count down now until the next holiday, Christmas, yay!!
