Under Chester walls

My Sunday photo – Chester walls

It’s safe to say that at the moment we are not very hard core campers, at all.
We had a long, wet drive up to Chester on Good Friday, arriving too late to put up the awning, and with it raining still Saturday morning decided against trying to put it up then.
The children enjoyed themselves running around all the muddy puddles but after getting through their only change of clothes we decided we’d have a quick look around Chester, meet up with a friend and drive back to see if the Easter bunny had come Sunday morning.
Chester has to be one of my favourite cities to visit, having lived there for a few years in my late twenties, I’ve definitely got fond memories of it and I was glad to have a wander, even if only quickly. Amazing history and the shops are pretty good too.

  1. Shame that the weather has been so appalling for this Easter weekend but at least you managed to have a walk around Chester town for a while and nice to catch up with a friend. Still just think you’ve camped in all miserable weathers and so it can only get a lot better!
